 What kayak you got? Sounder?

What kayak you got? Sounder? Shark sheild?  Just wondering how far you would be travelling in  your yak, if your running a sounder it saves time as you wont realy need to drop placcies till you see fish or structure and there is plenty of sharks down that way so last thing any yakka wants is to be reeling in a pinky and have a 3m taxman come up for a cuddle.

Kool fair enough nothing wrong with that. I've never fished there but ive found that you have alot more success on placcies than bait. So casting and retriving is the way to go or even slow trolling grub/paddle tails in white along drop offs or rubble bottom or structure. Sorry i cant give ya a spot but i hope to see ya with a yak pinky report soon.

anchor and burley

Anchor and burley with mulies anywhere behind the islands early morning or late afternoon. A sounder helps to find some reef but it can be done by eye just as easily. Float unweighted mulies/scalies/squid down the burley trail amd you'll be in with a good chance. A few hundred metres out should be plenty

Id suggest not to burley in that area on a yak without a shark sheild.
