Just wondering if anyone knows anything about the shimano backbone elite landbased game SPINNING rod, 15-24kg. Any comments or opinions on this rod would be much appreciated.

Hey muzz6108,
Mate how are you, I just want it for a second set up, as I already have a overhead set up sorted, thought ild try and set up a spinning LBG rod, I happened to come across the backbone yesterday, people saying the SPINNING model hasn't been out that long, or do you know of any other LBG SPINNING rods out there on the market.

Yeah with live fibre the guy
Yeah with live fibre the guy at BCF told me I could use there 9FT LBG overhead one for spinning aswell, but I'm not 100% sure about that. Gary Howard are good but having trouble finding one for spin, all the ones I've come across have been set up for a alvey at the bottom of the butt, I have just come across a LBG SPINNING ROD the brand is called AJIKING does any one anything about this brand, as I have not heard of them before,
thanks Rails

Hi Rails, live fibre do both
Hi Rails, live fibre do both spin and overhead in the LBG models. I have used the spin rod before and it is quite a heavy rod, would be great for ballooning but not for spinning. They also did a Live Fibre Texaliam 8 foot in the 10-20kg which you can still find if you shop around.
