Some of the sharks down
Some of the sharks down south are monsters hooked a few and watched 700m+ of line disappear very quickly, especially the big bronzies that follow the salmon schools, just don't go using a whole salmon as bait with less than 700m of line cause chances are it won't come back haha. Whole herring are a very good way of getting sharks to 1.5m and if you chose the right spot shouldn't be to hard to get into a few. Best methods would be ballooning or slide baiting. For mulla's fresh fillets of herring tailor or salmon are about as good as it gets, nice deep water like a trench on a surf beach is a very good place to start for the bigger fish.
always looking for a new challenge!!

So chris prob be best i pay extra hundred bucks and buy 1200yds off 50lb fins and put as much as i can on to the reel.. i pretty sure il get close 900m off it on there and 50m off backing just enough to cover spool...
and year thanks for advice beach il be at is almost imposssible to ballon at but slide baiting or live baiting was my two plans for attack..

Black i recommend you do
Black i recommend you do that, there is never enough line you can have when targetting sharks better to have more then not enough.
if you have access to a kayak take that down and you can even kayak the balloon out obviously depending on the winds, swell etc.
Good luck looking forward to seeing you post some good pics up from the trip!
Good things come to those who bait
