Scano's unusual capture

Went fishing tonight (Wednesday) and took a mate from work (Lee)
He caught 2 very nice big tailor :D
While i was chatting up some girl (Getting destracted from the job at hand)

Total fluke but us being good fisherman and also with lots of people around we returned it to the water to swim off.
It was legal at 78mm (head) :wink: but caught on rod and reel
Scano also managed to get a nice tailor to top it off.

unusual capture
i think we were all too amazed that I actually caught a cray on the end of my line to be thinking straight at the time. As you can probably see in the pics Marc took i jagged him in one of the small legs with a treble hook at the end of my gangs. We were all amazed that his leg didn't just rip off cos the current and wind were pretty damn strong. The tailor put up a good fight also.
The good part was that for once in the last month or so Bodie didn't show me up with what we caught. For the last 4 weeks or so he has been catching Tailor pretty much every week when we go midweek fishing and Marc and I have caught bugger all lately. I was starting to get really pissed off with fishing to be honest but now I am as eager as ever.
can't wait till next wednesday!

I accually caught 4 in one
I accually caught 4 in one night off the cliffs in Kalbarri couple of years back. Unfortunatly for them they did end up in a sandwich lol.
