Salty captain treasure chest vs Madfish cooler bags

 Gday all,

Looking for reviews for either of the above coolers?

Madfish have been around a while, though have noticed the treasure chests hit the market recently.

Keen to hear about your experiences - the old hard esky is hardly keeping the ice and need an upgrade urgently.

Cheers

Ive had a Mad Fish bag going

Ive had a Mad Fish bag going 5 years, cant really compare ice times but it holds good for a few days no worries. It gets a hard time and is showing no signs of wear.

I use it for its length and weight advantaged on the deep trips rather than having a large eski in the boat. Just throw it up the front until needed.

We used a Mad Fish bag last

We used a Mad Fish bag last year at Exmouth and the Mackerel Islands and it was great for holding ice. Easy to clean with the hose conenctor too. Can't comment on the lifespan as it's not mine!

+ 1 for Madfish

We have been using a bag for many years now and gets a workout and still holding up strong. The only thing was the tab of the zipper broke off but a cable tie in a loop through it is actually easier to open and close than the original.
