Rowley Shoals

Hi All,
Chasing any feedback from anyone who has done a chater operated trip to the Rowley Shoals. We have agroup of keen fisho's who would love to get over there, mostly chasing sports fish. There are a handfull of operators who head over there, wondering if anyone has any info on their own experience, which boats would be considred the better charters for the fishos's (Not so much diving).
We'd be looking to book out the charter as we all have fairly similar preferences in terms of fishing so can run fairly smoothly on such a trip
Any info would b greatly appreciated.

Ross Newton and his wife Tracey run Reel Teaser Fishing Adventures. He's been in the NW charter business for some time. I met him in Exmouth many years ago and whilst I've never been on a charter with him I've only heard good things about his charters.

Avoid Divers
Went a couple of years ago on a trip which was advertised as fishing and diving.
Emailed them twice to emphasise that we were primarily fishers and was assured that there were fishing tenders and great fishing.
They allways anchored in marine reserve areas, only took out the tender for fishing once that I can recall and didn't have a tender with a working sounder.
The only decent fishing I got was off the back of the boat illegally once everyone had gone to bed.
The boat was a Cat, great for Kimberly coastal but unsuitable for a 200NM journey over what was quite rough ocean - Odyssey expeditions

I have been out to the Shoales with Ross and Tracey. Definitely a trip of a lifetime.
Can't speak too highly of Ross and Tracey. Would absolutely choose them again.

Hi Bodie - I have been on 8 trips with Reel Teaser over the years - 2 to Rowley Shoals and 6 trips to Scott Reef.
They run a great family operation and work hard to put you on fish all the time.
Will also learn a lot about different fishing techniques.
Every trip offers something different as nature is in control - but you will be presented with plenty of opportunities to target and catch bucket list fish.
