Rod to suit JM PE5 reel

Hey guys.

I am looking to find a rod suitable to pair up with my JM pe5 reel spooled with 50lb braid. It will be mainly for the heavier side of demersal jigging and the occasional sambo and 150-250gm jigs.

I have been looking at a JM 3 kings Light and the fallings light but I want a few other options to look at and living in Albany its a bit hard to see what is around. Can anyone recommend any rod that they have had experience with that would suit what I'm chasing?

Cheers

Ryan

Do it some justice and pair it with a JM rod, the rods are designed to compliment the quality drag. Fallings L would be my pick, Oceanside were kind enough to load one up for me...
Impressive.

Another option is the new Temple Reef R7B - just released. Oceanside may have them also so you can compare?

Otherwise the Fallings is a great stick. As is the Smith AMJ52H

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

I'm currently running a powerspell 300 and that's way too heavy for what I want. I'm going to Perth next weekend so I might swing down to Oceanside and say Gday.

Cheers
