Rocks off burns beach

Not sure what they are called, but anyone dived off the rocks at burns beach? I dived there today and saw the marine parks boat watching me as I got back up. From what I know, this isn't part of a marine park or no dive zone or am I wrong?

do you mean burns rocks about 3-400m off the beach between mindarie and ocean reef? if so your free to dive there, its is just inside the northern border of the park but no restrictions on take, just normal marine park rules.

Think so.
It's in about 5-7 meters of water. Usually see people fishing and the odd pot now and then so figured it was OK. Just thought it was odd that he was watching me get back on board. Didn't come close as if he wanted to chat then just took off.
Maybe liked the black sabbath and wanted to check it out ;)

You can dive there.
We used to take abs from there before it became a parking lot.They may have been seeing if you had been spearing there.It is the northern end of the no spearfishing zone.That or they liked the look of the Sabbath like you said
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?
