removing old adds from the list in the for sale forum

This is just an idea,
the adds in the latest for sale /buy forum seam to be very old. tTo me it would make sence to remove the old adds.
Or the adds that the items have been sold, this would keep the latest for sale/buy forum more up to date.
I do not what to bitch as the site is the best fishing site i have joined. The only reason for this forum is that i found an add that i was interested in but later found out that the add was over 2 years old.

but if ever you had to look back for some reason like if you wanted to know if there were things still fro ssale or for free and u sent them a PM the would be clue less.

if free stuff is is still available then keep the add but if all the free stuff has gone then you dont relealy need the add as all the items have been given away.

don't need to remove them imo. if your item is sold then just post a reply saying 'sold' or edit the title/original post to say sold.
having the old threads there is good so you can see how much items have sold for previously, gives you a rough guide when choosing a price for the items you want to sell and when buying items.
Also when browsing through the Buy-Sell / Swap forum (or any others) you can sort the posts by when their title\, when they were created and by the last post. If a thread says it was created 2 years ago then chances are the item is no longer for sale.

if it was sold then i would be looking at that one and some adds dont have sold on them so that would mean that there are still available.
also the thread said nothing about being created 2 years ago
all that info was found out when i pm him and whent into the store

that would work for buy-sell/swap-trade but the info that usent is not on the latest for buy/sale so how do i find that out.I am new to this and just trying to get my head around this site on how it is uesed.

When you click on the thread
When you click on the thread it says the date it was created right under the title.
Example:
"removing old adds from the list in the for sale forum
Submitted by whittley500 on Sat, 2010-06-12 21:39."
