Isn't a Shimano beast master
Isn't a Shimano beast master an overhead rod?
I think you would be better off with a TLD 25 or 15.

the Penn SSM series cops
the Penn SSM series cops alot of flak, why? because its made in china not USA, so what do people do put like 80lb braid on the 850 950 and intentionally try and break it, therefore reports you hear arnt valid, if you ran 7kg drag through the 850ssm it will be fine for a long time.

6500
had a shimano 6500 for 10 years nearly never ben serviced still goes good caught everything from big trevalley up north to salmon down south rays sharks every thing copped a hiding best to run 10kg mono but with the heavy rod you might be able to run 10kg braid or there abouts maybe 30lb

baitrunner for sure.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.
