I've had the same cheapy for 15 years too, however almost blew my tyre last trip to shark bay. Was inflating my tyres and seemed to take forever, noticed the gauge barely moving so thought I would double check the pressure with a spare gauge and the reading was 83psi....
ARB all the way , just piss the hose and fitting off they are crap and get a standard hose from bunnings. ITM make a good inflator. Always use a seperate guage.

I have had the same cheapy for about 15 years and I've been waiting for it to rattle itself to bits but the thing won't die.
Nowadays I always put a bit in each corner before trying to pump one all the way up.... It's got to die soon!

I never trust the gauge on my compressor. Always double check with tyre gauge

Late reply admittedly but I have an XTM one. Paid 99 for it and the bag has fallen apart but the compressor works great.
