Either it's shithouse act by some grub or old mate pissed someone of badly.
Either way Not what you want after a days fishing.

The social experiment of using the softly softly approach to vandals has shown to be totally ineffective.
When these low life get caught then they should have to pay restitution for the damage they have done, if they have a job then their pay should be automatically stopped to pay for damage. If they collect a government payment then that should be stopped until damage bill is paid.

If I was a blatant pinger that didnt give two shits about anyone else, I would accept those consequences because I would know that what im doing is completley wrong (and thats if its even pinging at all, as Ive said a couple of times previously in this thread).
As said in this thread, if you just go about your business in a respectful way, the chances of this sort of thing happening to you are alot slimmer.

There is a misinterperation of what I have said
If you read my post again I have not (repeat) not stated that the owner of the trailer and car has done anything wrong. And I have clearly stated that I think that to do such a thing is clearly wrong and can't be justified at all.
There are many posts on this site were people have been most upset at "pingers" and threatened retaliation, I am not one of them as no laws have been broken by pinging some ones prime fishing spot.
I have made clear comments about people who have stolen other peoples stuff and broken the laws and I don't try to deny them. Paul 86 has posted similar thoughts but has again clearly stated that such action can not be justified

I don't know the circumstances here on why someone has done that, but something like that doesn't happen for no reason.
We can all guess why until the cows come home, there could be any reason for this outcome, unjustified or not, but one thing is for sure, this isn't a random act, and so if your a decent person with your head screwed on, then this is nothing to be worried about.

Rims ect. Still poor form . Years back someone took all my trailer wheel nuts off bar one each side. Lucky wheel come off around a slow bend. Pretty dangerous act. If I was travelling faster and other people on road could have killed someone. Reason I know it was done at ramp . I went back there few hours later and found 4 of them. Stupid act in this case also. If anyone comes near me while dhue fishing I just move of ground. Then go back afterwards.

Lets just think that if that were the case then the person who believes they were pinged must have seen said pinging boat at ramp to know said pingers vehicle
If that was the case and they felt hard done by becuase another boat drove past where they were fishing and may have pinged the spot,
WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THEY HAVE THE BALLS TO SPEAK TO THEM AT THE RAMP?

We will never know, could have been another reason not related to fishing, like someone cutting his grass for him without his knowledge.
There was a case like this many years back in Two Rocks with a well known German chap, well known for pulling others craypots having his car set alight in the car park while he was out checking his pots.
