Does any one know what this is it was found yesterday under mandurah bridge. It's 1 meter in length and about 400 wide with a hard shell like structure on the top ?

Did it have at head and tail poking out at each end and two legs on each side, if so , you've caught Mertle the Turtle!!!

My guess would be a turtle thats been dead for quite a while by the look of it and on the nose as well
