Please help - Guilderton to Lancelin, Seaweed Update

Hi guys,

Hope everyone is having a great Easter break and getting into a few fish. Planning to drive north for a tailor session on Sunday night.

Could someone please give me a current update on the beaches around Moore River, Seabird, Ledge, Lancelin or Wedge? Don't want to get all the way up there if the water is green!

Cheers,

Buschy

Thanks guys, sea-kem are you on the main beach in front of town?

If anyone else can share any info I'd appreciate it - tight time schedule tomorrow so can't afford to drive up the coast making multiple stops!

Hey Buschy I'm at the van

Hey Buschy I'm at the van park. A little bit has drifted in this arvo but I'll guarantee it'll be gone again in the morning. I've  been catching some huge Herring, And a couple of big Tailor. The other thing is that there is a big scholl of Dart hanging around at the moment so been having fun with those on light gear. Big boating day tomorrow.

Thanks again mate - probably tossing up between just north of Seabird or hitting up some reef south of Ledge. Glad to hear you've got into some action mate, hope it fires up tomorrow for you on the boat!

Ledge

Got out late and arrived on sundown at Ledge. No time to find a decent spot further south so we fished the back beach. Caught a lot of seaweed (flicking lures) - nobody else was catching but plenty trying.

The weed was really thick

The weed was really thick from lancelin all the way to wedge over the weekend  too, but managed to find a clear spot just past narrow neck. Plenty of 50+ cm tailor and heaps of Dart but no Mulloway
