Well, public notice, the life of the party(me) will be leaving the country for a couple weeks. Going to mauritius for a few days then south africa. Havent got much fishing planned but hoping to get out game fishing in SA. Will report back once im home(providing i dont get shot). Might even jump on a pc mid trip for a quick update.
Have a nice shizz free few weeks, enjoy it while it lasts! >:D

in SA Durban, goin out fishin monday fingers crossed. Weather been a bit average last few days, might also be bass fishing next sunday in the hills.
Didnt get a chance to fish in mauritius but have a day and half there on way back so might wet a line there.
So anyone catchin anything back home?

Best couple of weeks we have had in YEARS , must be because your over there, Macs and Wahoo off rotto with heaps of Tuna all along the coast , blues in close and Yellow fin Tuna out deep , Marlin , yellowfin tuna and Dollies all over the FAD's Heaps of big JUMBO Tailor off all the metro beaches with Mulloway to 40 kg off the beaches every morn and right thru the night.
Mandurah is full of crabs and finally getting BIG mud crabs in the Moore river , you should see them HUGE !!!

by the time you get back we should of caught all the fish.

back....... only fished that
back....... only fished that one day, but what a day!
got myself a wahoo, heap of small tuna, dollies, few bottom dwellers and finally to top the day off my first black marlin! and a big one at that. Unfortunatly didnt have pics of the marlin boat side but my "photographer" got a few pics of it breaching before the camera died. Used all the bloody battery on the rest of the fish! fish was tagged and released. Will post pics up when i get them off "the photographer" camera. Awesome day out.

yeh well aparently the wahoo arent common there either, let alone a black of that size. Wont devulge too much yet as im gonna write an article for next months HB mag i think about it. Will post up a few more pics soon tho. Marlin was estimated at 200kg+.
