I was camped near the broome shire president while in coral bay about 7 weeks ago and he said it is not far away. As the owner of a seven metre boat he is looking forward to it.
What they have proposed for Broome is the biggest peice of shit proposal put together by a bunch of fuckwits that don't understand the wind or currents up here and are not listening.
Not enough votes to be had as we have a labour member here that is totally useless and doesn't give a stuff about Broome or anything except the money she receives for doing fuck all.
I won't live long enough to see anything of any use here.
Sold my 7 metre boat because I was fed up with the shit facilities we have and is easier to launch a tinny off the beach with less stress.
As for infrastructure spending lot being spent on shit for non taxpayers up here.
In quite a few places, never mind what is a priority for residence it's what we can do to (in our own mind) to make the place "look" nice to the grey nomads, of which I'm one.
Like music in toilet blocks etc.
