NEW BOAT RAMP WARNBRO SOUND

There is a new boat ramp to get into the sound not 100% finished but nearly there, great for all sized boats. its in port kennedy at the end of Port Kennedy drive
looks only 3 or 4 weeks away, only carpark to go.

Isnt there allready 3 ramps in warnbro sound? :p (though 2 are sand, and all are in the north part).
Now why cant they build one anywhere inbetween hillaries and woodies that isnt 30 minutes up the river.....
(theres room at north mole, they could open up south freo to public and just charge $20 for parking, but no, why would they want to do that....)

LOL, i always go to Ocean reef when i go North of the River, saves going all the way to Hillarys ,seems like i go past Hillarys,,

Note the big gap. Also note none direct from rotto :p. Have to go diagonal from woodies or hillarys..... or go a slow 8 knots through the river for a few nm (from leeuwin boat ramp).
Not like they'll ever build one inbetween hillarys and woodies. I'm sure most of the people in that area have big private yachts they cant put on a trailer anyways...
South freo will remain exclusive to expensive clubs, north mole wont allow any ramps with their new fancy, upmarket developments (dont want any dirty fishermen getting close to their exclusive waterfront property.....). No chance of getting anything cottesloe northwards (despite the fact it would make an awesome surf break at dog beach, between floreat and scarb). No chance of putting it in reefs south of cottesloe as people with two landrovers, a bmw and a two story house will complain about changing the environment (plus they wouldnt want a ramp in their backyard, and parking would be a nightmare).
Oh well.

Be very security conscious at the new ramp, leave no keys or valuables as lots of cars have been broken into in the past at the old carpark due to the isolation, Hoping they install cctv.
Will be good to have the new ramp open in port kennedy as it will take the pressure off the Safety bay ramp in summer.
