nice work Ron, if veggie oil

nice work Ron,
if veggie oil does not give you the results needed, try salt water as a back to back comparison, before making any mods once installed.

goodluck and hope it becomes a great eye down-under for you.

thanks guys

yeah wopjrb, i have used sika to glue it down.(done today and wire it all up through the weak) the no holes, i meant as a through hull type.

tony are you running salt water in yours?

1 reason for the vegi oil is they reckon it dose not go mouldy so to speak, have you notice any change in the quality of the water in yours?

chears

I don't run a wet box, I

I don't run a wet box, I have a wet face on the transom, but I know from experience that some setups work better with mineral oil and others with salt water. You can use a very light mineral motor oil instead of veggie oil as well, just go for the thinnest oil you can get, less chance of mold on those than veggie oils.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
