sorry about all the point walter stuff but am going there soon and never been there.
any mulloway in point walter?? even small ones? i just want to catch my first mulla.

hey qwerty, ive been trying for 6mth know and still no mulloway, ive tryed lots of locations too, I know guys that have been trying for over a year or two, guess yourve just got to be at the right place at the time.

mulla are so few and far
mulla are so few and far between. its just a big waiting game so you might have to make a fair few trips there. Best chance for mullaway is on a full moon.

Its not that they are so few and far between its more a case of being in the right place at the right time when one is hungry, I have found plenty under the Narrows bridge on my sounder but they wont take a bait. Full moon is good and so is live bait. Dont limit yourself to one area I have hooked them on bream lures up the other side of Fish Market Reserve, they're not on for long but long enough to see them. I took the boat for a run on Friday and sounded 3 not far from the Belmont ski area in the middle of the day.
