Mud Crabbing

Does anybody know if the mud crabbing any good at the ashburton river ( old onslow ) or is it better to stay in town and fish the creeks north of town

i would be fishing the ashburton or further south
just wait till the tide is on its way out then look through the mangroves under old branches and in mud holes you shouldnt have a problem getting a feed
