Brenz For me - X-Raps all
Brenz
For me - X-Raps all the way... although last time out I used a Maria bluecode with excellent effect (mind you the tuna were busting up the surface everywhere)

No Worries..
I have caught alot more of the smaller Tuna by casting at them rather than trolling but Yo-Zuri crystal minnows and Halco laser pro 120 dd 2 m diver in king brown colour have nailed more than a few this year.

xmas trees
Small xmas tree lures in pink, we have caught heaps of SBT's on them this year. They are only about 6 bucks from BCF and the Tuna love them...
Run them well back around 9 knots, dont worry if there is no birds around, most of the fish we have caught in the last few months have not seen a bird in sight. 30 to 40m seems to be the most productive for us.

Yeah, any small skirts will
Yeah, any small skirts will do. Jet heads in choppy conditions. They aren't shy - they'll usually flog anything.

Brenz,
Brenz,
tuna are very easy to catch even in our metro waters. We have caught tuna every trip out for 7 months. You can catch them on everything mentioned but the 3 lures that haven't missed are Richter jelly babies(pink), the pakula micro uzi and the floozie(crystal). These catch so many you'll switch up in size to land only big fish. They catch big fish aswell but every little tuna within miles will slam them. A little trick is to put your rod in the rod holder and wind the line in until the skirt barely touches the water and another way back but just off to the side of the wash. The take on the short corner can be very impressive. Speeds of 4knots to 7knots have worked well depending on conditions. Hope that helps!
