Marron poachers fined

See on the news yesterday and in the paper today that a pair of marron poachers got almost $100 grand in fines and their car confiscated for taking hundreds of marron out of season from Harvey dam.
Serves the greed bastards right, shame their names haven't been released.

Yabbies taste better. I like marron as pets. I find it hard to kill them now days. In trophy waters would have made fine larger.

I used to love going to Harvey Dam but just do not go near it now with all the idiots who just get smashed and leave rubbish everywhere.
A friend of mine was there earlier this year and saw a couple of groups fighting and one bloke who broke out a gun, pretty scary when he was there with his family and his young fella absolutely terrified by what was going on.
