Looking for a new home in the next six months

I'm seriously considering selling the big duck as I'm thinking of getting an even bigger duck to spend some bulk time cruising the Coral Sea.

I've talked to the guy who built her and she's an 88 build Sharkcat / Noosacat. Sharkcat built the hulls and Noosacat did the hull bonding and Fitout ( strange but that's how they rolled back then) 8.5m long.

Shes been refitted for long distance cruising with comfort in mind, all the ladies will appreciate the creature comforts.

Amy Louise has been in my care for the last two years and I've only put two ( yes two ) hours on the motors. The reason behind this is that she's undergone a full refit from stem to stern which has taken about 1300 hours of my time and an unholy amount of loot. Refit was undertaken due to a leaking fuel tank and if you're going to be removing decks to put in new tanks why not rebuild the whole boat?.

All windows out, stripped, rebuilt, new tint, windows rebedded. All topsides re painted with International Toplac. Two new 360 litre fuel tanks, two 100 litre water bladders. Main decks removed and replaced, all new furniture and cushions / beds inside, toilet and shower cubicle on rear deck added. Hot and cold water with a hot water storage tank and Heliatos solar water heater. Twin gas burner with grill, two 2kg gas bottles, dual gas sniffers with auto cutoff solenoid. 130 litre 12v Vitrifrigo fridge freezer. Four 110ah batteries with twin 200w solar panels, Victron solar controller. All new wiring in boat. Simrad Nss Evo 3 12 inch screen, hydraulic auto pilot, 1kw wet box transducer. Icom radio, Cel-fi phone booster. Seperate fresh and sea water deck wash systems.

Bigger than King size main bed up front in seperate cabin. Twin 1.9m couch bunks in saloon. Full window shades exterior. Brand new bimini cover, brand new flybridge storage cover. Two monster storage lockers under the rear deck, I'm 6'4 and I can get in em and shut the hatches.

Brand new Duralite 6 ton trailer ( been wet once ) Ringfeder ( not Pintle ) hitch. Rogers willex truck suspension, air brakes. You can have the boat fully fueled and still be legal. Boat weighs 3.8 dry trailer is 1500kg. Mitsubishi Fk 415 truck with 15000kg gcm. Truck is an oldie but a goodie, full air system for brakes and ringfeder hitch. Bimini stores in truck for transport, needs oversize ( height only ) permit for transport.

Twin Mercury Verado 175. One 1160 hours the other 700 hours. One complete spare motor on crate, good for parts, ingested some water, seized super charger yet motor still turns. Could be be re built.

She's a flybridge model with no controls down stairs.

Boat presents as new $165k for turnkey package. Currently sitting in Carnarvon.

Hi mate
my 2 cents worth...
as you are living remotely if you really want it sold i would truck it to Perth and list it with a broker. Boats are selling in a frenzy at the moment but being in Carnarvon is going to limit the amount of interest

cheers

I'll be back in West Oz when the borders reopen, who knows when that's going to be.....:D. I've a few more finishing touches to add then I'll be advertising her properly. Finding somewhere to keep her in Perth is a little problematic and I'm loathe to give a broker / yard loot for selling her. For a serious buyer Carnarvon is only a short plane ride from Perth and it will weed out the tyre kickers!.
