The last 6 months efforts
here you go guys, about my 6 months effort in fishing. these are just some of the better catches, some are a bit older but couldnt not put them up. just been targeting sharks lately thats why there is so many photos of them. some of the photos are bad i know but its not always easy to get a good photo when i do 90% of my fishing alone in less than favorable weather and trying to release most of the larger stuff as fast as possible.
all the tailor where caught either on stickbaits or mulies with 4lb line and bream gear used, the pinkie was also caught on 4lb from the rocks just after a storm.
i have about another 20-30 more that wont load because there to big so ill put them up later when i mess around with them.
cheers Chris

The rod with the torium is
The rod with the torium is just a cheap shimano catana but it's held up very well to some big rays, those 2 rays that are there one took 1 &1/2 hours and the other just over 2 hours. Been trying to get a 2m+ metro shark for ages have caught 12 little ones under 1.6m in the last 2 months, getting very frustrated with them hahaha.

I have had the same issue
I have had the same issue mate. Doesn't seem to matter how big a bait I put out the little ones smash it. Some of them havent been much bigger than the tailor used for bait lol

Yep I only balloon or slide
Yep I only balloon or slide when I can't kayak out a bait now that I have one. Just trying to find something big enough to rig up for a kayak bait is hard.
when I go down south I'll be swimbaiting a small bronzie if I can get one, that's bound to have something huge eat it.

Woah jesus! Landin those rays
Woah jesus! Landin those rays must givn you a back ache. Sme nice tailor and mullas, were the pinky and sambo landbased? Well done, been doin the hours I bet.
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Been putting in some very
Been putting in some very long hours lately, the pinkie was land based and all the tailor. Those rays are a new kind of hurt after an hour on full drag it starts to really get sore. Nothing better than seeing it go after such a massive tug-o-war with something much heavier than me. Hammer was caught off a beach ballooning. Only been targeting tailor to keep baits up and sharks lately but once I get a 2m shark then I have some new targets that will require even more hours put in.

Some great fish mate, the
Some great fish mate, the hours on the water look to have paid off!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Torium 50 with 1100m of
Torium 50 with 1100m of diawa pe4(55lb) and 200m of 24kg igfa stren mono with a 10m long 200lb wind on leader. Massive overkill for these little guys but I use this reel for everything, sliding ballooning ad kayaking.
