Jurien whiting

Hi all, just posting to see if anyone can give me the heads up on where I can catch some small sand whiting for bait in Jurien using a boat. In other words, I am chasing some large areas of sandy bottom to catch about half a dozen. Just general areas will suffice and preferably in depths less than 10m and closer to the marina.

we got some off the beach at
we got some off the beach at sandy cove which is near the marina but they were in quite close and was a bout 1 whiting to every 5 or 6 butterfish or dart

Plenty of sand areas in bay or island point south of town from beach at dawn and dusk or of beach at hill river

Hey Spooledagain the whiting your were catching did they have any size to them or just really small??
And when you say sandy cove do you mean sandy cape(half way between jurien and greenhead) or just the sandy beach just to the north of the marina?
Sorry to hijack the topic Tandawg, im interested to as im heading up there in a few weeks hopefully catch a few with the misses.. Im shore based but.
