Sucked up
He would have needed a safety belt, he would have sucked nearly all the seat up his bum through being so nervous

Same
I did the same thing in my GQ patrol. I had to wait for it to sink to the bottom before I got traction. Some mates mates told me they had driven through it that day in their specked up tritons.
I later found out the we're bull sh@$$ing and if I hadn't made it would have been strung up

Thats awesome! Wouldnt have
Thats awesome! Wouldnt have done any harm to it, thats why the intake connections need to be siliconed when you fit snorkels. The bloke wasnt dumb enough to get out of the throttle or open a door or window and now all the mud is washed out from underneath farkn legend, dont think his mates bothered tryn after sein that
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

That's some serious driving
That's some serious driving there - awesome work
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

That is not a good feeling.
That is not a good feeling. Did it in an old Subaru along the swamp track into Black Point one year at night. We had leaches and a few baby marron in the car when we finally got out. Big relief to get to the other side. Nice bit of driving from that guy tho, lucky he was in a cruiser LOL.

Roper River
A one time next door neighbour had some pics taken of him crossing the Roper river in far north QLD, they'd sat and waited for a week waiting for the river to drop to what they thought was a safe level. They finished up 400metres down stream from where they took off from in an early petrol cruiser ute, home made snorkel and a few tubes of silicon the day before to insulate the electrics. From inside there is water half way up the windscreen and about a foot deep on the floor. His mate's pics show just a cab and an aerial poking out of the water with a trail of bubbles from behind. Scarey stuff.
