Lost another burley cage and they cost around $15-20 any tips on how to make a low cost home made one to suit up to 20 meters in depth?

If your going from a boat (and its your boat)..Get a mate thats suffers sea sick!

Invite him over for a seafood dinner the night before!

Get him to provide food, half fuel, half bait, and half a carton! (And has fbl liscense!).

Go out half way to spot X. Then start chopping up bait..Instant burley bucketTongue outFree food and free piss with atleast half a days fishing off your burley bucket mates FBL...Cool

Burley

Mince up all your old bait, fish frames etc mix in some chicken oil/ tuna oil and stuff it in to an onion bag and put the lot in to an ice cream container. Get a big sinker with a loop of line attatched and poke it in to the middle of your mix then poke the loop through a hole near the lip of an ice cream container so when you go to use it you're not going to lose the container.Place it into the freezer.

Next time you head out, tie a line on to the loop sticking out of your burley block and drop it over the side allowing it to sink to the required depth.

The onion bag is there to hold the lot together as it melts and the container slows the melting process down somewhat. Once its all gone you are left with the onion bag and the ice cream container for re using next time.

Don't do that because he'll more than likely stop dry retching and come good if you do.

Its an old trick to stop being sick, jump over the side for a quick swim, stops being sick quick smart.

Give him milk, coke, greasy bacon anything to keep the slick going.
