If you like skippy...
...they are everywhere around Mandurah at the moment. The sounder screen gets blacked out with them at the Five Fathom Bank and there are always a few solid ones to be had at the Dawesville Cut if you can get there towards the top of the tide.

Dawesville Cut...
...this morning: 9 or 10 skippy ranging from 31 to 41cm, all on softies, and the colours didn't seem to matter. Most fish came on flouro/chartreuse.
What DOES matter is the tide...was just starting to go out when I got there, the fish were on for about an hour and a half, and then shut down when the water really started moving fast. Or maybe I should've changed to a heavier jighead!
Anyway, there's a good bit of late winter action happening down there if anyone wants to give the light gear a workout!
