Patience

For mulloway you needs heaps of patience and persistence. There are heaps of theories that people swear by on how to catch them consistently but the main one is to be willing to put the time in,rain hail or shine.

Im definitaly not a pro but i have some info that may help you,

me and a mate were breaming around the canning bridge a couple of weeks ago and as we were walking over, we saw a school of mulloway, there were about 12 soapies and 3 biggens, im guessin that the biggens were about 1m long.

this was on the swan side of the bridge

hope this helps

time...... Time and more

time...... Time and more time. Bait selection is major factor. Live baits by far is the best. A nice juicy live tailor is always good. Slidebait rigs, running sinkers, good circle hooks and alot of coffee or red bull. Heres a huge tip. Bring a good comfy chair lol. If there's bait around then you'll find you're in their huntin grounds. Make sure you're fishing somewhat not too far away from structures. Gutters, dropoffs, rocks, weed etc. Mullas are ambushers and usually rely on cover.

Best of luck buddy
