Gummy on KG gear

Out in Warnbro Sound on Saturday with my son chasing KG's when something clearly bigger than our target species took off on a run.
Was an exciting first twenty minutes or so as we both tried to call the fish so you can imagine our surprise when we got our first glimpse of a shark.
Just kept working the faithfull little Shimano Spin rod until we eventually got him boatside for a clean release - hook and all.

Lightning strikes twice!
A week later, same spot, same 8lb line (albeit with a heavier leader) chasing KG's and another gummy.
This one came home...
