Very new to fishing, and would like to know some places up the west coast to fish. Whats the best baits to use/rigs/hook sizes. Like i said i'm very new to fishing and to be honest havn't got much of a clue. Any help would be appreciated. Would love to catch some decent fish for Tea.
Cheers Lee.

Are you in perth?
Land based?
north or south of river?
do you have a rod and reel, is so what type and pound line?
given this info, will be able to give some tips.
another answer is go to a beach near you near sunset or early morning and do what the bloke near you is doing.
Wise man says - first take the plank out of your own eye before trying to take the speck out of somebody else's.

Just near Perth (Hillarys boat harbour) atm, heading North up the coast within the next few days. Will be fishing mostly off beaches, rocks and jettys.
Rod is from K-mart, Says 6' Boat, Line class 3-7kg, Length 1.80m, Cast weight 14-56g. The line kept on snapping everytime i got it out the van so i was given a 20lb line from a friend.
Will be landbased, don't have a yak or boat.
Cheers lads, much appreciated.
