Hey david is there any chance of telling me exactly where this secret spot is?

yes its the savage
off ethan, great boat for the price but the spot i caught these fish at isnt my secret spot but close enough to it anyway, the place i fished was just at the large tanker jetty at alcoa (challenger beach) just drive right next to the jetty (boat) and you will see a yellow marker 40m from the shore just cast or troll near it and you can pick up some salmon but to get snapper just find a rock out in deeper water from the jetty and berley up

yer there is
a few snapper and mulloway around that area but i think its more a hit and miss place somedays you get them some days you dont as with most places
i have caught the little salmon trout around that area although they are small on 2 or 3kg gear they are great fight, they are just like a oversize herring
i know if you put in the hours at night you have a good chance at getting a snapper mulla so ive hear
pretty lucky of you to get the snapper i would be stoked with it
