Fishing Charter for Monday. Yes or No?

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about going out on a charter for Monday. I've checked seabreeze.com.au

Breezy but not much swell. NE winds 6.30am switching to WNW by 2pm Can you guys give me some advice?

Only been out once before.

Cheers

to far out, look what happened to sunday yesterday. it only really becomes accurate three days prior. but if by some random chance it stays the way it is predicted now it should be fine.

Depends on how long that

Depends on how long that easterly hangs around for. It can be a pretty uncomfortable breeze when you get a bit off shore. Looks pretty good as the day goes on.

If I was planning a trip given that weather I would hang in close and get a few whiting for bait and head out once the wind started moderating. We have had some good days doing that.

I try not to head out wide when winds are predominently in the North to north west.Catch rates are usually pretty average. As milsey says to far away to call.

Lottery!  Look at a frew

Tue, 2010-02-23 22:10

Lottery!  Look at a frew weeks ago when both Saturday and Sunday looked like gold but ended up being far from it.  It is called a forecast for a reason, I have been out on days that look like average and it has been perfect and days meant to be perfect that have been crap.  I think if it looks like its going to be half decent then it's worth a shot.  I've also found the conditions on shore can be far different than 25 NM off-shore.  Anyway, when you find a site that can predect the exact conditions you will also find one that can give you the weekends lotto results.
