First trip off hedland

Sorry no pics , I forgot the camrea,
Today was the best weather I have seen for a while. Started with a bottom bash but not much happned, but did land 2 big chinas( put back). Then went for a troll and raised 1 billie with it messing around for a minute or 2 then left us with much discuss. Scored a little mack and then watching the sounder I saw the biggest lump I have ever seen full of fish.
20mins later 2 trout 59, 64 1 rankin 68 1 red 62 and 2 saddle tails both low 60.
It has been 3 months from the last time i fished (in karratha) and was very happy to wait for all this time to go out in my new town.

Hedland
It has been some awesome weather around Hedland that's for sure, I was out late last night in the creeks and inside of Weerde Island for VERY little return ( 1 x Grubter & 1 bloody big shovel nose and plenty of bust ups).....or actually i should say lost my Penn 560 Live Liner& rod overboard plus snapped an ole fav 10kg baitcaster rod whilst trying to svae my mate who tried to grab the Penn!!!. We had plenty of laughs but the bank manager (wife) is struggling to pay up on the new gear required for the next trip

its a 45n/miles out but pick the days and I shall return

awsome mate. if you managed to find good ground first trip there should be some good reports coming from you once you get the place wired. not going to make bill fish this year mate, my team fell through. maybe next year...
