Got a call from son wishing me the best and reminding me that he was trolling for mackies out off Helbie Bank waiting for the wind to drop off so he could drop a line in for goldies

Blowing is guts out here in hedland so no fishing for me but got a call from my oldest .

Cold
Cold is not the word, first winter down south in over 20 years. One had forgotten how bloody cold and wet it is, having to wear shoes not thongs, tracky pants and jeans instead of shorts, buying jackets and jumpers to keep warm.
