Exmouth help!

Hi all,

My trip from the UK to Exxy is getting ever closer, and i accidentally seem to have purchased way more gear than i can fit into my luggage allowance!

My question is, does anyone know of a way i could post a suitcase of tackle ahead of me and pay to have it held ready for my arrival, then post it back?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!

Tim

if your with emirates you have a 30kilo allowance......just leave behind clothes and shit, you dont need more than shorts and t shirts here anyway then just pay excess baggage for the rest

Can buy everything you could conceivably need in Exmouth anyway. That should make the culling a little easier.

Thanks for the replies folks. I've already booked with Qantas and they won't let me increase my baggage from 23KG. Also, i've already got carried away and bouth all the goodies!! I should have posted this before I got carried away shopping...

Pretty sure you can buy an extra baggage. http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/prepaid-additional-baggage/global/en

gets bit pricey though

Are you sure you're bringing the right gear? Most UK bought tackle wouldn't stand up to Exmouth fishing. Might be worth telephoning Blue Water Tackle in Exmouth, tell them what you want to target and then get some advice on what to bring (or buy when you get here). They might even be able to arrange to ship it back to you in the UK once you leave.

Sorry, didn't answer some questions above. Although I've booked my flights with Qantas, because some of the legs are with other operators I can't get the extra baggage.

As for the right gear, the fish I will be targeting will be small trevs and queenies on light spin gear, GTs on big poppers etc and sharks on the surf casting tackle. As it's all new tackle for me, I've had to buy a little at a time over the past year. I've done a lot of research, And all the reviews of what I've bought seem to point in it being up to the job!

Thanks!!
