Exmouth at the end of march???

Hey guys just wondering what the winds are like at the end of march up that way? were looking to go up around that time if they are not terrible any advice would be great cheers

Gamex is on at the end of March. Been up there the last few years at that time and it can be a bit hit and miss. Always seems to blows in Exmouth , just a case of how hard and from what direction. Maybe some of the locals like Adam will be able to give you better info .

did gamex last year end of march ad tantabiddi was bloody horrible all week, and yet up around the islands was glass for most of it so really is a gamble, my pick would be leasve it for a month if you are chasing more consistant weather.

Go April/May if you can but if you want to take a real gamble go in January. No crowds....Water temps up...Plenty of Pelagics and Billies. Only problem is the wind can blow but the fish will still be there. If your lucky you will even get glass outs!

Yeah march is the only bloody time I can get off by the looks of it this year anyhow I might have to suck it upo and just go I think what dates are gamex this year?

gamex is in the second last week
of march the 18 or 19th i think we come back the day before.

Gamex Sunday 21st March
till Friday 26th March , can be hit and miss with the weather , we've had glassoffs at that time of the year for 2 or 3 days and then 20 knots from the SW for a couple of days, who knows , don't stress just get there and enjoy!!!

All good info!
I prefer March-July in general but yes April-May is more consistant but every one has the similar thought pattern and it can get packed!
I'll be up end of March also, not doing Gamex this year but Tanda''s ramp at gentlemans hours is fine but early launching and lines out at the ramp can be chaos!
As for March winds....Hit-n-miss but what i like about Exmouth being a Pennisula you can always find some where to hide or less wind area's!
