Eating Quality of Long Nosed Emperor?
Submitted by Dr Trunk on Fri, 2010-08-13 11:36
Are Long Nosed Emperor any good to eat? We caught some last trip up north, the fillets look good, but haven't tried it yet.
I need to know if i should keep it for myself or give it to the mother-in-law?

Good eating
Preferaby bled and eaten fresh - we had one on the yacht out at the Monties literally caught hours before and cooked on the barby - sure we were hungry but it tasted great - do not know about the freezing qualities though

Pretty much identical to all
Pretty much identical to all the tropical snapper. Not bad at all.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
