Crays and occy . Funny thing is still whites in very close . Done few big jars off pickle occy up . After reading other occy one . I decided to only cook for half hour. Still turned out tender but won’t be to soft in a few days time. Vinegar mix is only way I like it

Love the pickled occy I've been doing quite a few hard of pickled Cray too, boiling the Cray for about 3 mind then in pickle got both occy and Cray hard in the fridge.

I stuffed up big time
Yesterday. 50/50 on fillets between me and deckie.( Peter) Parents came over gave them 6 packs . 3 went to neighbours for putting up with me and boys hooking up boats all the time. got pack each. I kept 20 fillets for myself which I left out all night didn’t find them till this arvo . Friggin spewing. Little Andy got extra cray bait now. Waste but not wasted. Occy turned out mint . Long process. Actually cooked with fresh chillies in cooking process. Gives them a slight zing even before picking them . Very happy

Those occys look to be a good size
Good size occys, no wonder the crays don't last long when those guys take a shine to them in the pots.

Occy where all
2 to 3 kilo jobs. Didn’t spend much time on them.seen heap off smaller ones left them alone. Big ones I find better for pickle. Another month I think they will be on big time.
