Difference between jigging rods and bottom bashing rods

Can anyone help me out with this?  I'm pretty sure that the jigging rods tend to be shorter and they have a parabolic action.  Not sure why that is.  The bottom bashing rods are.... different - but how exactly and why?

Huge difference. Jig rod needs to be parabolic, length less of an issue but typically around 6th. Parabolic action takes up on every rip of the jig improving the action of the jig.

Bottom bash rod much better with a fast action, and generally much stiffer. Jig rods are horrible to use, as they bend and wobble with big lead weights. bash rods horrible to use for jigging, as you get slack line and tip wrap on each rip up.

A quick Example; t curve 200 a good jig rid (if not a bit outdated), t curve 400 a good bash rod.

Thanks John.  I'll re-evaluate what I have on that basis.
