Crease for reels

Hey guys, how are we all,
Just wondering what sort or brand of crease people are using on there reels, do you have to use the proper reel crease that you buy from tackle stores or is there something you can get elsewhere cheaper and a larger volume, like repco etc. Opinions would be helpful.
Thanks Rick

If carbontex washers stick to
If carbontex washers stick to cals grease. Its not like you use that much anyway so works out pretty cheap, can also order it in bulk to save some coin. Sorry cant help you on a cheaper option, compared to what we spend on tackle bait etc the grease is the least of my worries.

Yep if your going to use 1
Yep if your going to use 1 grease Cals in the biscuit colour is the go, some people also swear by the blue Yamaha Marine Yamalube, Alan Tani (google his name, numero uno in reel service) swears by it and it's available cheap in large quantities. Probably good for spinners and large trolling and jigging/bottom fishing reels but a bit heavy for baitcasters I reckon, stick with cals for these, use only light oils on overhead casting reels spool bearings otherwise you'll have poor casting performance.
