Crabbing - Garden Island/ FFB

Has anyone tried crabbing along the back of Garden Island, in the shallows ?
Or is there to much water movement with the swell etc ?
What about Five Fathom Bank ?

Should catch in herring bay
Should catch in herring bay but not sure where else holds the right conditions? Worth a go and report back I think
