Coogee beach

Hey all, can you camp overnight on coogee beach with a 4wd ?? Reading some conflicting reports. Ps Merry xmas to all

I don't reckon there's anywhere within 100kms either side of Perth you'd be allowed to legally camp on the beach. Not saying it doesn't happen though.

Camping is banned on most beaches, but you are allowed to fish overnight.
If you aren't fishing and set up a camp, that's camping.
If you fall asleep on the beach next to your gear while fishing, that's not camping. There is no rule saying you can't lie on a stretcher bed or in a sleeping bag while fishing.

Camping, erecting a tent and even breathing air on any of the beaches around coogee requires written approval from the council.
