hi there mate,

welcome to the site.  I would start by using the search function of the forum.  Its a massive topic on where and how to fish Exmouth, hire or charter etc.  There might be some boys on here that could take you out depending on the dates you are here.

Hi Brad

The two species you have here are pretty much at different ends of the state .

No doubt you will arrive in WA through Perth ,so if its Sambo's your after give Craig a ring at Saltwater Charters ,his details are listed as a sponsor on the side of your screen.

The GT's like the warmer waters so some of our members do very well up around Karratha and Hedland in the Pilbara area .

Not so many big Gt's around exmouth and Ningaloo , i've always caught more Golden Travelly than Giant Trevally in these areas.

Definately use charter boats ! There are plenty of good charter operators in each of these area's

Try Oysters or near the Naval pier at Bundegi for GT's in Exmouth, or if you can hire a boat and the conditions are good you can Pop behind the reefs on the west side.
Try Googling "Quobba" too, outstanding land based game fishing, plenty of big hard fighting fish to catch, and a few GT's around too.
