The salmon are starting to
The salmon are starting to come through Callum but are not very thick yet. By the time you come down in april they should be in full swing thoe mate. When you get down head for meelup near dunno and walk around to shag shit rock wich is off to the right of meelup beach maybe a 5min walk just look for a rock covered in white crap (hence the name) just to the right of that is another couple of big rocks wich make a great platform for casting lures. The salmon dont come through in huge numbers maybe 20-30 in a school some times up to 100 but they get pretty close to the rocks so they make it easy to get your lure out to them. I use a 6'6 4-8kg ugly stick with a exceller 4000 reel with 14lb braid. Grab yourself a smilin jack lure in the mulie colour they go off. Hope that helps you out a bit mate.
