Broome isn't the most

Broome isn't the most prolific muddie places but they are there. They cop a flogging all year round now.

we found one on cable beach where the rocks are on your right.... it was a ripper too! the euro trash backpackers loved it- scared the shit out of them with it!

heaps in the creeks near town, in the area near that dodgy pub, (divers or the roey?)

Crab creek

Take the 4wd track out past the bird observatory to crab creek two hours before high tide (springs are good)

go to the creek edge and throw your nets into the middle!

as the tide rises you can target the snags.

set your crab nets up along the bank (you will need to do a bit of walking in mud but that's half of the fun!)

crab until an hour after high tide.

make sure you take your gauge and that you can tell the difference between a brown and green muddie.

good luck
