Biggest State and National Black Bream?

With the bream comp on, I was wondering if anyone knew what the longest, as oppossed to the heaviest (yes, I know they are related) rcord state and national black bream is. I had a look at various websites, but they tended (as is, I suppose the std) to record weight, but no length.

Was just curious. I know there's been plenty caught around the 40cm plus mark by Deacon etc in the Kalgan and other surrounding waters.

Haven't been out breaming yet. Planning on going out tomorrow....stay tuned!

Hmmm, I'd be VERY happy to catch a 60cm one LOL. Posted it on Southcoast forum (my local one) where there is a lot of guys breaming. No reponse yet. I think I'll PM Bear - he should know.

http://kids.mdbc.gov.au/basin_fish/ao_of_native_fish/black_bream#Fish_Size gives the above figures. Just because it's a webiste aimed at kids, doesn't mean we have to disregrad it. Doesn't say the source. Will keep looking...
