Been thinking of going to trigg beach or similar just to do a bit of beach fishing for tailor or even some whiting with my son..
Are they ok to start with or are there better places.. ??

floreat drain or swanbourne
floreat drain or swanbourne beach north of grant street is good for bread and butters for the inexperianced, not just that, also less hassle with snags and whatnot. But its a good place to teach them how to clean your gear afterwards... Gotta love beach sand ay lol.

If you want an an easy place to introduce your kids to
beach fishing Pinnaroo Point would be one of the best.
Triggs would be ok as long as the swell is not up and the winds are pretty slight.
Floreat Drain is a good option as long as gthe conditions are pretty moderate.
