Come down to Shore Catch (7/65 Buckingham Drive, Wangara) and have a look at our selection of baits, we'll point you in the right direction.

Most days we have fresh baits on ice including mullet which is one of the best baits you can buy for mulloway.

it depends on where your fishing. if you can get a live herring ,mullet or similar is best but as mentioned fresh . fishing the river  i used to get bony herring or trumpeter. for the ocean was herring or the likes, live sand whiting can also be productive but dont stay alive for long

The best way to catch a mulloway is to see what bait fish is in the area and use one as live bait. If there are no bait fish in the ares then a strip baits work really well for them. Feel free to come in store and have a chat to our team and get some advice. Remember Fishwrecked discounts apply if you need to buy gear excluding bait. We are open 7 days a week . Cheers Oceanside team

Mulloway bait

If you cant catch fresh bait mate get some scalies from your local tackle shop.there abit more hardier than mullies and work well in the surf. Other fresh baits like mullet, slimy mac's are worth a crack as a seasonal mulloway fisho there the top baits if hunting crome slabs in the surf
