Leading up to the weekend the forecast seemed great...
Seabreeze hasnt changed their forecast (well they did this morning for a bit)
But now thunderstorms tomorrow morning...are you gusy still going to head out?

yea we'll make our way for two dives and a troll off hillarys or ocean reef, of course if its a bad idea we'll turn around without hesitation, best times on the water are the glass off calm before the storm but just can't get caught with ya pants down,
we wont be any where thats further than a 10minute trip back to a ramp anyway, wont be goin offshore

early out, early return. open top boat + storms = bad news.
but I'm itching to wet a line, so I'm gonna scoot out from point peron and have a crack at the very least. Wont be very far from home so I can tuck tail and run if it does turn nasty all of a sudden.

Yep definatly be out there early 2mora forecast looks good. Bunbury Fish'n Comp started this morn'n so yeah we ventured out but not too far as the Easterly winds were 20-25knots and seemed to get stronger. We had no fish to weigh in today but heard reports of huge Dhuies caught off Busselton.

Should be kayaks out at the 3 mile off Ocean Beach chasing the Spanish macks etc in the morning so keep a look out,,,a few kayaks chasing Snapper South of the river as well,,most have safety flags,,launching about dawn.

went out yesterday about 14
went out yesterday about 14 miles out and man it was rough. 15knot southerly all day. got a dhu and baldie first up, and thought this might be worth staying out, then nothing for next 5 hours, so called it a day.
then when we were nearly in, about 2 or 3 miles off the coast, easterly still blowing and conditions were nice. weird weather.
today (sunday) is lookin sweet as. i'm at work lookin out over south beach in freo, and it is flat as a tack, and seabreeze says 5 knot north easter at rotto.
looks like i got my workin and fishing days mixed up.....

Great morning on the water,,no snapper but got my limit on squid,,checked out the carpark on Woodmans pt and the fishiers department had some alleged illegal crabbers bailed up, $3000 fine plus $20 per crab lads
